“Beat the Monday Blues”

IMG_3870

This time I am making my Monday little funky, springy and colorful yet formal. I am enjoying this spring season. I am sure everyone enjoying too!! But as we know life is not a holiday and we all need to go to work 5 days a week (sad but true) so why not make your outfit little fun and add colors to it.

As you know I have collaborated with this beautiful, intelligent, friend, adviser, co-blogger bestie, she has this perfect sense of style.

We had this thought that lets blog about office wear in our style. And then we came with this idea of the photoshoot. We both chose skirts to present our style sense.

I wore this pencil skirt in dark cherry red color pairing with gingham which is my all-time favorite print in casuals as well as in formals (I have no idea how many ginghams have in my closet 🤔shhhh🤫)  So pairing bright gingham with dark funky cherry red color and subtle grey peep toe was super fun. The pictures came out really well. We loved it.

If I talk about Vrushali’s Outfit,  she says- “Neutrals are my comfort zone, so my basic idea behind this look was to add a pop of color to my neutral staple pieces.  I started off with a piece that I love, this statement window pane white blazer from Forever 21. Teamed it with a dolphin hemline grey skirt and added the cobalt blue tank blouse.  I love cobalt blue, it’s a vibrant color which makes a statement without being in your face”.
